Enriching Your National Park Experience

Cuyhaoga Valley Environmental Education Center has been educating and hosting groups for over 20 years. Visitors typically stay on-site with us for 1-5 days living and learning in the greatest classroom – natural world. We believe everyone can benefit from time spent in nature. We encourage everyone to find opportunities to have a “Cuyahoga Valley National Park experience” where ever they are.

Ohio Certified volunteer Naturalist Program

The Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist program is designed to teach participants about the natural world through science-based education, both in the classroom and in the field. This training, coupled with community-based volunteer service, will enable participants to become certified as volunteer naturalists.

Attend Junior Ranger programs throughout the year to earn earn a badge and a patch. Designs change from year to year — children of all ages can collect them all.
