Groups typically stay onsite with us living and learning in one of the best classrooms: the great outdoors. Groups that stay with us include: schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or special event participants.
Providing experiences to school groups from across the region spend 3-5 days during the school year living on the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center’s campus inside Cuyahoga Valley National Park is central to our mission. With our unique interdisciplinary academic learning experiences, which are correlated to Academic Content Standards, techniques used here are easily transferred back to the home classroom.
We believe everyone benefits from immersive experiences in the natural world. We are committed to meeting educators and parents’ expectations through our experiential courses, which are designed to enhance classroom teachings. We have heard from past participants that the experiences and lessons learned at the Education Center have lived on well past the time spent here.REQUEST A FIELD TRIP→
